Not understanding visas/laws how is it possible for him to buy a rifle ? Is that legal For a temporary stay?

So long story short, an international student is being deported after buying a hunting rifle that he called a sniper. Furthermore, he dyed his hair, bought a $70,000 corvette with his parent's money, and failed to attend a few classes. Usually when you skip class you get notices, they don't deport you right away. What's your opinion about this? Do you think it was right they lock up and deport this student?

1. The authorities are over reacting.

2. They know some things that they're not telling us - maybe they eavesdropped on his phone calls or texts, where he made "plans".


They might have figured that his well heeled parents could afford a good lawyer. Cheaper to put him on a jet to China.

Agreed! had this been in china he would be breaking big rock into little rocks for the next twenty years or so. Sounds to me like another one who wanted to go off.
