Hugh Hewitt radio interview with Mark Kelly of Giffords Law Center

On Mar 26, 2018, syndicated radio talk-show host, Hugh Hewitt, who appears to describe himself as a “center-right conservative”, conducted an on-air interview with Mark Kelly. Kelly is the husband of Gabby Giffords and a principal at the [anti-gun] Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence (LCPGV).

Near the end of his fawning interview, Hewitt described Kelly’s prescription as a “Common sense, Constitutional view” and invited him back to further discuss the issue.

By email to Hewitt, I pointed out the biases of the Giffords Law Center and urged him to balance any further interviews of Kelly with an interview of someone representing a gun-rights group and holding the opposing view points. I’ve also suggested to GOA that they might engage Hewitt for a future on-air interview.

It makes me gag to see the LCPGV viewpoint represented as the “Common sense, Constitutional view”.

I skimmed the interview, didn't hear the audio but I suspect Hugh Hewitt had knee pads on. Lot of slobbery stuff going on there.
