If I had my single shot 22 I'm sure I wouldn't be saying that to myself !! But back to the subject . I would feel some comfort with a semi auto 12 ga with as many rounds I can shove up the tube like 8 ! And Breneke slugs of course . IMO a lot faster firing and more controllable than those big magnums in bolt action rifles . No matter what you better have nerves of steel good aim and lots of luck . As a little test of your abilities take a small 6" or so pumpkin and have someone roll it at you on the ground say at 20 mph. From oh I don't know 75 feet away see how many times you can hit it as it's bumpin and jumpin in different directions .
