I looked through the magazine bill, but there was no provision for registering magazines and paying $50. It's pretty explicit that you have to get rid of the eeeeevil mags within 6 months.

I wonder if the article meant you have to pay $50 and register any gun that can accept a "high" capacity magazine?

UPDATE: The bill was amended. The register and pay $50 option is only for guns with fixed magazines of 11-15 rounds that can't be modified to 10 rounds or less. It is not an option for detachable magazines.

These kinds of bills were why I moved from NJ to PA. It was bad enough while Christie was in office and I could easily foresee that the Second Amendment (along with the 1st, 4th and 5th) was a goner as soon as he was out of office. That time has arrived.

Encourage any pro-2A New Jersey to move out here to PA. Let Governor Murphy and his anti-Constitution mob there wallow in their socialist Hellhole* State.
