This is why factual history is being replaced by revised history in schools. Brainwashing youths with propagandist pabulum makes it possible to create a more pliant tool of the statists.

There were approximately 30 million people murdered by their government during Mao's Cultural Revolution of the 1960's. It was his movement to make himself relevant again because he had been cast aside by those wishing to advance the country into an era that would reduce the power of communists. Mao used, as has already been pointed out, the children to sweep away the "Four Olds" that had been created in the minds of the youth by Mao. Mao sought to create a culture of permanent victimhood so as to have a limitless source of power. This tactic hasn't been lost on the democrat party in this country and they appear to be in full swing mode with this tactic. History repeats itself over and over again and our education systems are hellbent on making students unaware of history so that tactics like ones used by Mao won't be recognized and tried again.

I have a friend who was a young child in northern China during the 1960s. He told me that his Dad sold his baby clothes to buy grain from Farmers. His parents and others would strip the bark off of trees to get to the green material under them which was mixed with grains. My friend did not starve to death.

He stands five foot five. Famine didn't stunt his mind but it stunted his growth. His son is six feet zero and is in his mid teens. He outweighs me, a grown man. My friend had the genetics to be a tall man but Chairman Mao and his Red Guard insured that he never reached his genetic potential.

Today many kids in China have diabetes from over eating. Diabetes beats starvation.

These knucklehead marchers are trifling with disaster and are too stupid to realize it. Well, if they win - the Revolution normally eats its own. They won't outlive us by very long.

Those who own the past own the future.

Seeing the past destroyed....statues removed, historical figures left out of or minimized in school books....is more than a re-writing of history for history's sake. It makes a "new future" plausible to those without memory.
