You Can't HUNT with an AR15!

You clearly can't hunt with these military-weapons-of-war-and-mass-death either...

Hmm, I had a similar conversation with a grabber on FB today.

Them: "Anyone hunting with a gun like an AR-15 is not a real hunter and I am so sorry but people hobbies get trumped by peoples right to be safe from these weapons...which have no business being sold to civilians"

Me: "Oh OK, not a real hunter. Glad you said so." Then I proceed to post all of the picture that EM posted in this thread.

Them: "Any real hunter knows a gun like that would destroy the meat from animal. Only a fool would use one to hunt...or someone more interested in playing at being Rambo than hunting"

Me: "OK then, if you say so.But it reveals how little you know about the AR15. It doesn't destroy the meat."

Them in response to photos: "Now show me the insides of those deer and elk. The damage occurs once the round enters the body"

I showed her a .223 vs a standard hunting round.

Nothing, sticking to the real hunters don't use them line and that ARs destroy the meat.

There is no reasoning with these people, and we're foolish to try.

I spent the better part of my evening advising people how ignorant they truly are on this subject and if they want to actually be respected as an individual with a informed opinion they need to take an hour and do their own research independent of Facebook, their favorite anti gun group, or the MSM. They will most likely have the same opinion but at least they won't sound like a total idiot.

Find a picture of a Remington 700 chambered in .223 and ask her if that's okay by her standards then have her explain why the 223 fired from that rifle vs the AR15 is better for the meat? I'm sure this mother of a tide pod eater has a degree in ballistic analysis and human anatomy.

See now, the real problem is with those "Military Grade Sniper Rifles" they like to call "Harmless Hunting Rifles". Remember the D.C. sniper? The only real use for those death rods are for popping heads. Should pass a law outlawing those sniper rifles of death. That way we get to keep what we have. Too bad for them. I talked about it with my friends, and they agree, so that makes it true.
