Why 10 rounds?

Which is why you train under stress.... exercise, spin around, shoot when you're sleep deprived and other stress simulants. My groups size increase about fifty percent when I'm gasping for air.

If I had to guess, it's because no magazine at the time offered 10 round capacity and they thought they were banning all magazines.

There also appears to be a serious misunderstanding that ammo comes in magazines so they think you are no only buying 10 rounds at a time.

All I know is my 15rd hexmags will take a spring change and voila be proper 30rd mags when I move to PA.

That being said, you learn to reload really well when you have 15rd and everyone else has 30rd mags.

I was told it was because that is a common size magazine on the market for SA pistols and SA rifles.

My question is how do states like NY come up with a maximum magazine size of 10 rounds.. but only 7 allowed to be loaded??
(I am aware that NY does not enforce and claims to be deleted this 7 round requirement)
