    Default Shield vs G43

So I'm looking for a single stack 9mm for carry during warmer months and possibly all year around. I've owned the shield 2x before when the G43 was not available, but now that it is I find that I can't ignore it. I've heard ups and downs on the 43 as far as recoil is a bit more and the capacity but I don't think either of those reasons are anything to make my decision. I'd like your opinion on which you prefer and maybe even why you do.

I only have the G43, but no complaints its a great little pistol. The recoil is not harsh at all. There is a bigger difference from my G19 vs G30sf than G19 vs G43.

Colion Noir did a pretty good comparison between the two, he's an admitted glock fanboy so take it with a grain of salt.

I think it is a matter of personal choice and comfort. I have Shields and Glocks. The New Guy coming on the
on the scene is the SIG P365. The M&P Shield grip fits my hand the best, but does not deter me from using
the Glock 43 or Sig P365. The Sig has 10 + 1 capability and a great trigger out of the box.

If I was in the market for a new small 9 I would probably go with a Sig365. I already have a Shield and LC9. The better trigger and higher capacity in a gun just as small or smaller would be my choice.

I prefer the Shield....especially now that it’s out in the 2.0 model.

The 43 is technically better (as in size, ergonomics) and the shield lower priced and very functional. The shield feels like a bar of soap to me, the shape not the slippery. I'd rather a shield be in an evidence locker. They are Dixie cups.

I like the Shield because it's not a Glock.

I have shot the Glock and have a Shield so I picked Shield in your poll.

G43 fits in my pocket better, so it's the one I bought.

I'll be getting the P365 once they have been on the market long enough to establish a track record.
