    EDIT:
Here's my thread debating a 9mm vs 5.56 pistol build. (if you get bored. LOL)

Nevermind. The "question and answer thread isn't the one I thought it was.
Hahaha I will check it out. thanks

Ok so for a little update, I picked up a spikes lower/ parts kit. I ordered the new SBA3 brace along with a buffer spring, castle nut and buffer. now all I need to do is find an upper I like. Two I am looking at now are

    https://www.hardenedarms.com/ecProduct_229

    and

    http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-1...165447625.html

    Any advice?

Buy one before its gone. Save $ where you can and use it for mags, ammo and training. Buy the one with the features you like, you have to live with it.

I like the appearance of the longer (10") hand guard on the Hardened Arms upper, but I would never buy anything with "quad rails" because (a) They are big, uncomfortable, cheese graters and (b) most everything you may want to mount can be had with M-Lok or KeyMod mounting slots.

If you like quad rails though, go for it - it's not my gun.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Personally I would go with the PSA simply because I have had only good experiences with everything AR15 I have ever purchased from them. They also stand by and warranty their products for lifetime.

$299.99 will get you up and running and then you can upgrade what ever you want down the line. Hardened Arms might be good I just never heard of them.

I do not mind quad rails, but the weight may be a little over kill.

they do have an m-lok rail that looks good too

One thing for sure that PSA has as an advantage is the Hardened Arms there is a 4 to 6 week build time. Not that I am in a huge rush but still.

They are typically excellent for the money and Vortex has a no questions asked life time warranty so you really cannot go wrong.

Check this out if you have to the time.
