They may not be perfect but I'm proud to be a NRA life member when faced with these guys on the other side.

I'm a member of The Gun owners of America, The Second Amendment Foundation and the NRA. My NRA will be due for renewal soon but I too am struggling on renewing in light of their lighting the wick that gave lots of ground to the antis. I'm 90 %no.

Having said that I absolutely love the way Dana Loesch is barking back at the anti lies and tactics. If they dump wayne lapierre and put her in charge I may be more inclined to renew. I'm watching them closely.

I updated the David Hogg video.

    I'll keep updating it too.

    He's an NRA fundraiser's dream.

    You missed the unedited version.

This is an astroturf thing. "Hundreds of thousands" showed up to wave printed signs and deliver babbling incoherent speeches.

So what? Is Mike Bloomberg going to drive them to the polls this fall? Is CBS and NBC going to cast a ballot for them? No. They're noise. They're nobodies. They're nothing.

We are the real deal. We are fighting for our existence. We are the ones who are saving our own lives. We either do or do not. We own lethal force but do not murder people. We know Good from Evil.

The children at Parkland were betrayed by a system that did not care about them and does not care about us. The so called "Safe Schools" act disarms teachers and responsible adults who will obey the law. School shootings have gone up since this act become law in 1994.

The local authorities failed those children. Cruz was investigated by the Sheriff's department, the FBI and was seen by the School Resource Office carrying a "black duffel bag". The SRO stood with his thumb in his ear while Cruz killed those children.

We did not arm Cruz. The System failed to protect those children. We are not to blame. We should not accept any blame. We must push back on these bandits, these liars, these cheats.

There is a gun rights group for everyone's taste.

Do or do not... but if you care, care a little and give some money.
The noise created by these trolls are no different than the much better organized and stronger in number leftist activists for the Equal Rights Amendment being pushed in the 1970s. Seven years plus the leftists tried to get an equal rights amendment relative to womens' rights and in the end, the movement failed to get the required number of states to approve the constitutional amendment.

Why? Like the high school trolls in this movement, the activists for the ERA became annoying and unlikeable. When a group declares war on the second amendment and legitimate firearm ownership, any other message they may send becomes irrelevant. Politicians from both parties will give these puppets some listening time, but in the end, nothing will arise from this. This is an election year, and neither party wants a backlash that a movement like these kids are involved in could create. History has not been kind to the democrat congresses and administration that passed or almost passed anti gun ownership laws. This started with the 1968 Gun Control Act.

Yet this misguided movement could and should act as a wake up call for those gun owners that are not politically active. Or even non gun owners that believe that the antigun movement is reasonable and really has nothing against law abiding owners of firearms. Thank you for your post Gene

You make it sound like an "Either/Or" option. People are free to do both.

I refuse to play in the Media's sandbox. I am quiet, average build, well focused and well spoken. A nobody. They would gladly talk to me on the street because I am quiet, calm and competent.

At a Gun Rights Rally the Media won't focus on the likes of me. I don't fit the message.

The Media will find the most "stereotypical" "gun nut" in the crowd. They will focus on their paramilitary appearance, their "assault weapon" and will ask them to rant and rave. The Newscast editors will string together sentences to make said "gun nut" seem like the next school shooter.

Do you want to waste a day playing the Media's game? Suit yourself. You might make a difference but I doubt it.

Take a moment to review the babbling nonsense that spewed out of those speakers on the "March for Our Lives" get together. The Media made these losers into martyrs and saints.

They would make us "gun nuts" look like demons from hell. We want to play with our "War Toys" while children bleed on the floors of America's schools.

My way of looking at it - Money talks, quietly and persuasively. Politicians listen to money. Politicians look at millions of dollars of dead cash raised by angry "gun nuts" and realize that people who pay donations will vote.

The only "collective voice" that the Media hears is on Election Day.

I'm not actively discouraging anyone from going to a gun rights rally. Just be aware that you're not going to get any fair play from the media. Outside of the rally, you're just wasting your time.

I would happily pay admission to a dark-web site playing a video of Dave "Media" Hogg or the nazi skinhead lesbo getting their brains bashed in by a couple FLA good ol' boys. Now that would be a video.

I'd like to see him in a couple of years shooting and then gutting a deer, shooting an automatic weapon at Tannerite targets and doing quick draw demonstrations.

I'd like to see him hate Big Brother, embrace Liberty and Freedom, and claim his masculinity.

A convert is a joy. Always.
