Do you think it matters to the citizen which specific government agents took their guns?

Do you think the result of the action is somehow different, depending on which specific government agents took their guns?

I wonder how many of the officers that participated in that are former, or possibly reserve soldiers? You know, soldiers that are sworn to defend and uphold the Constitution? History seems to indicate that soldiers/cops are more apt to follow the orders of their commanding officers than they are to question if those orders are legal or not.

Is that 18/19yr old grunt going to question an order when his LT is screaming in his ear?

You don’t listen to the LT. You listen to the Senior Enlisted man in the unit. The two most dangerous things in the military are, an E-1 with a loaded rifle, and, an O-1 with a map. O-1’s carry very little sway with the enlisted men. An O-1 gives an order in the field and every man is looking at the First Sergeant. Did he nod, or did he roll his eyes?
Another point. All these dumbasses saying the military has x amount of men. True, perhaps. But, on the best day, only 1 in 10 is a qualified ‘shooter, with access to arms AND ammo’.
Most are actually support for the shooters. POG’s, B.B. stackers, mechanics, cooks, supply pukes, tit-less WAF’s, etc.....

That's only 3% which was all it took to defeat England. A war with people battling the US army is delusional but that wouldn't be how to fight it. Several events have paralyzed parts of our country over the years. The two biggest in recent history only had 3 people involved. The D.C. sniper all but shut down parts of Virginia and D.C. I was living there at the time. People were terrified. Kids weren't allowed out for recess. Millions of dollars and thousands of man hours were spent trying to catch those two animals. Next was that Austin bomber. I'm sure the entire city lived in fear until he was caught. Imagine these types of actions directed at law enforcement and the government undertaken by millions. Attacks on infrastructure, power grids, water supplies, oil refineries. This would break the will of the government and its supporters pretty quickly. Marching down the streets with firearms is for idiots. That is how I envision the second amendment standing up to Tyranny.
This plus the fact that likely 90% of military and law enforcement will be on the good guys side with those of us that respect the founding fathers,
so those choppers and tanks this twit speaks about might not be on the side the twit thinks.
    Just something to consider.

There's not going to be any win-able conflict in a conventional sense. It would have to be fought with a knife-fight mentality and a viciousness not seen since Whigs vs. Tories during the American Revolution or Missouri guerrillas from the Civil War days. It would be a very ugly and very personal thing to say the least.

I saw a similar "Can we just talk" style article on face book last month. It was a veteran who was quick to claim to be anti gun, anti second amendment, and was quick to tell civilians like myself that i can never overcome a military force. Of course the poster of this article disagreed with me when i said he made several assumptions.
