    Tough decision.
If you need a weapon, how hard is it to confiscate a weapon from a guard?

This guys whole theory depends on US Military men and woman turning arms against their own. Invading and occupying their own states, towns, and neighborhoods. Some might most won’t. This is just another extreme “point” the antis Like to make just like the whole “so you think it should be legal to own a nuke?” bull shit.

The 2A is about keeping the people in the balance of power and to do that small arms are required, as already pointed out history has shown it’s quite possible. Americans should have legal access to any and all small arms and accessories that any local, state, or federal LE agency has since they will be the ones doing any door knocking, round ups, or acts of intimidation and violence against Americans.

I wouldn’t give this guy or his comments a 2nd thought because he went right to extremes because he’s looking for extreme answers or comments in order to frame what scary unbalanced gun owners think like.

    Don’t buy into stupid.

People like this clown are the embodiment of the phrase "may your chains set lightly upon you." You never accept subjugation by an enemy of any stature. If you die, you die free, but you fight. We all die. There is no need to be a pussy about it.

    Regarding the OP's repost:

Implying the reason I should not be allowed to own small arms based on rate of fire is because I don't have attack helicopters and tanks is a shallow argument at best. People that view the gov as all powerful and unbeatable in any type of armed rebellion needs to only read our own history. 3% of armed farmers and a rag tag army handed the most powerful army in the world it's own ass for dinner. We had help, but we started from scratch. Not quite the case now.

Going by history alone, I think that unfortunately, most solders and police will just follow orders.

Hopefully I'm wrong, and Americans put in that position would do the right thing.

Unfortunately, I don't think that would be the case.

Exactly. They resort to reductio ad absurdum and moving the goalposts since they don't have a rational position to take.
Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.

    Depends entirely on one's circumstances.

Every time someone keeps that myth up about Soldiers confiscating firearms I have to laugh, didn't happen, now police in camis did take weapons.
