    Thanks for all the input!

Have put the R1 at the bottom of my list

I called the gun shop and this person claims the SIG TACOPS (sorry for the wrong spelling in OP) is 2nd hand but unfired and comes with everything like new.
Found one online for just under $900 plus shipping, plus NICS.. offered gun shop $950 out the door. Still no answer

Found Colt Competition and a Colt Government Rail Both listed for $800.. trying to set up a meeting on way to or from Oaks Gun show this weekend

The rail guns are nice and my competition has been awesome so far and I’ve made hits on steel out to 100 yards. I did see they recently changed to the series 70 action but I’m not sure if they’re out yet incase that is a concern of yours. I have the older series 80 which shipped with the blue FO installed which I changed to green.

I did forget to mention the colt also has a dual recoil spring which does lighten the recoil a tad bit but maybe it’s just in my head.
Go head, skin it. Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens.

I would not offer anymore than $750 for a used 1911 TACOPS considering you can get one new for $900. Sort by price - Gunbroker - Sig 1911 TACOPS
