Default Can a PA resident buy a gun in NJ?

From the state trooper site it seemed I would have to get finger printed and do the same BS they have to do.

But has anyone done this? She wanted to do FFL to FFL with a money order or bank check. I kind of want to hold it first...)

I want to buy from a person, but fuck no am I transferring that amount of cash to a person I don't know. I'm 90% it's a scam so I told them I have a beach house, and that makes me a dual resident. I guess I will see what happens. And if it's not a scam, I do have a beach house, so I may go chat with the NJ troopers anyway. I'm not in the mood to get ripped off,

(I posted a WTB in PA, and they sent me to a WTS ad in NJ at a good price. (Used rare gun) This is when I wish my smart computer friends were around, and we could be sure this (woman?) is lying. I don't like scammers, and this would hit me rather close to home. )

No gun is worth having so badly that buying it in New Jersey is worth doing.

    Buy something else, somewhere else.

Dunno how things may have changed, but years ago I was in Harry's (Rt 130) with my BIL NJ resident. I could have purchased and walked out with a rifle by being a PA resident. BIl was not allowed to touch any gun in the store because he as yet had not obtained the NJ gun purchase permit.

Why not just have her bring it to a FFL just on the PA side of the river? Meet there, and if you decide to purchase, go inside and do the transfer.

Yea I'm sure this must be a rip off. But this gun is, indeed worth it otherwise. I bought one 7 years ago for $800, said I'd never sell, ended up in a tight spot and had to sell for $2000 last year. This is a like new one for 1800. Mine was an '87, this is a 1997 with perfect marking.

Is that actually possible? Given the type of gun she should be capable of putting some effort into this deal
