Someone who is not as fucked up a you tube could really cash in with it's own hosting site. Car channels are bailing off them.

I submitted correspondence to Full30 asking them if they had considered a subscription service. For all of the bitching I've done about YouTube's censorship, it finally dawned on me that "I don't pay these fuckers any money so what do they care if I leave".??

The new YouTube firearms related policies that are slated to go into effect shortly include the following restrictions:
Provides instructions on manufacturing a firearm, ammunition, high capacity magazine, homemade silencers/suppressors, or certain firearms accessories such as those listed above. This also includes instructions on how to convert a firearm to automatic or simulated automatic firing capabilities.

Shows users how to install the above-mentioned accessories or modifications.

First, a disclaimer:

I personally believe that individuals should have full autonomy over their body and that they, and themselves alone, should decide what is right for them.

With that philosophical and moral disclaimer aside, let’s continue:

In my first letter to Bloomberg I mentioned that the simple search of marijuana + bong on YouTube revealed not only people consuming a Federally illegal schedule 1 substance, but instructions on as well. This particularly important point seems to have been lost in the now heavily reutilized article about InRangeTV’s move to start distributing our content on PornHub.

Regardless of if you think firearms should be legal or not is not relevant to the point I’m about to make.

My point with YouTube’s policies and InRangeTV’s move is not about changing your mind on the topic of firearms ownership - it’s about the freedom of expression on the internet.

At this moment, regardless of your personal belief, firearms and their accessories are legal in the United States. Schedule 1 substances are Federally illegal, regardless of what you believe or what your local state’s take is on the topic.

I therefore pose these questions:

Why are we seeing continuing restrictions and challenges towards content about something demonstrably legal yet not against that which is clearly illegal?

Why is YouTube using its position as the world’s largest and most empowering content provider and place of free expression as a tool to control the narrative so inconsistently?

Why are we allowing an oligarchy of corporations to turn the internet from a place of freedom of expression and knowledge to a philosophical prison that controls the public narrative?

The internet has been potentially the single most transformative technology ever embraced by mankind!

Humanity has used the internet to evolve to new heights of intellectual pursuits, knowledge and philosophy.

The internet has shattered cultural barriers and opened the doors of the world of better understanding to almost all of mankind. In its short life, the internet has changed everything.

Do we really want to lose this?

The purge is in progress, old stuff I had bookmarked is disappearing from youtube, it's not just gun vids either.

Good thread on the subject over on AR-15 about folks downloading vids to "save" them from being lost.

I was able to find a extension add on for Chrome in order to liberate some of my favorite vid's from YouToilet and it works pretty well so far. The connection I am using right now is super slow (DSL) so it's taking some time but I have the next 3 day's off and not much planned so I should be able to rip these fast once I get home to my hi speed.
