Default Anyone have a have a source of 303 Enfield brass?

    Good Morning All!,

I recently inherited a bolt action rifle chambered for 303 Enfield, a set of reloading dies and a number of bullets.... anyone know a good place to pick up brass to start loading a few cartridges?

    THX!

The PRVI brass reloads alright. Not the greatest though. I've seen a couple with base separation well before the "average" for the other brands. Certainly a fun way to make brass!

Yes, .303 British is the correct caliber name.

    Gotcha
I've never relaoded 303. All of mine has been surplus berdan primed.
A few big name manufactures make ammo, but empty brass itself seems to be gone for the 303 at the moment.

.303 chambers seem to run mucho oversize-o. Headspace is usually excessive too.

Since the 303 is a rimmed cartridge and headspaces on that, the chamber is not as critical, plus the older ammunition used cordite which led to erosion in the barrel throat and more space for the case to expand into when fired.
