New Member - Made My First Purchase

I just wanted to make a post introducing myself. Originally from New Jersey, went to WCU and then officially moved here almost 4 years ago. I just applied for my LTCF so hopefully I get that soon in the mail. I also just purchased my first handgun which I do all the paperwork for on Wed. at the FFL.

Thanks! I got a Walther Creed. I know Walthers have a GREAT reputation but didn't want to spend a TON of money at first. I'm really excited to get it and start shooting with it though.

Hahaha, thank you. Unfortunately, my parents still live there but a couple years ago my father did manage after almost a year of waiting to get his firearms license (just to own them). They do plan on moving out of the state (most likely to PA) when they retire.

Your welcome. Hopefully they more sooner than later. One thing you should know as a newb is, NEVER and I mean NEVER, shop at dicks or field and stream. That is all.

I actually haven’t gotten it yet. It just got delivered to the FFL yesterday but with the storm today I won’t be able to get there to pick it up until tomorrow. But I will let you know how I like it. The PPQ will probably be my next purchase. Eventually anyway haha.
