Angry Do You Want $500 NFA Tax Stamps?

    http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2018/03/17/nfa-tax/

"The proposed legislation, H.R. 5103 increases firearms taxes and fees across the board and even includes a section that will continue to adjust them for inflation."

Mods, I have put this here, and in the National Politics forum to cover more people.

Gun control via pricing them out of existence?
    Not really that shocking.

Gotta say "no" even though I have no desire to own any NFA items under the current set of controls.

    Everyone needs to say "NO".

    $200 or $500 , don't matter. I can't afford a $25,000-50,000 NFA firearm anyway. The only NFA guns I'd care to own would be a select-fire M-14 and a nice Thompson.

You do realize the $200 (proposed $500) tax is on SBR's and sound suppressors as well as the "$25,000-$50,000" pre-86 fully automatic firearms, right?

Dare I say this in a publico forum- I'm surprised they only proposed $500. $200 from 1934 adjusted for inflation is $3,716.28

No desire to own any SBR's or suppressors either.

Do you have issues with hunters not caring about possible "assault weapon" bans because their rifles have bolt actions?

And this is part of the gun culture that kills us.
