    I bought 10k 50cal BMG bullets.
The ups guy helped me carry them in the house (he knew what they were). The problem is the media.
We are living in a paranoid society, amped up by SJW's and the media.

Story can't possibly be true. Since when does Walmart have large quantities of ammo?

Years ago, I bought a 500 count box of 45ACP WB at GhettoMart on Elm St.

Another customer asked what I was going to do with ALL that ammo.

    "Shoot it".

Not to me, no. Fuck, buy 1 million pounds for all I care. Just don't blow it up near my house please.

The problem is that society has put people in an impossible spot. Report the purchase as suspicious and go down as a collaborating asshole. Don't report it as suspicious, and someone uses it "inappropriately", and you may very well find yourself screwed out of a life worth living.

Don't misunderstand me. I think everyone should MYOB. If little Suzie buys a bunch of shit, makes herself some ANFO and blows up her school - well - hey - that's how it goes. That risk shouldn't be an excuse to harass the free and open commerce of the other 50,000 people who may buy the same shit that day.

Having BEEN the subject of a police investigation almost costing me my freedom due to an unfortunate and totally coincidental alignment of my own otherwise innocent activity and someone else's felonious activity, I quite agree with you.

I buy my .45ACP bullets from Acme Bullet (cue Wile E Coyote). They package 3 bags of 500 bullets in a laser-cut wood box that fits just right inside a USPS Flat Rate Medium box.

I just ordered 3000 on Monday, they were delivered Friday. Last time I ordered they delivered one box on Thursday and one on Friday. Given that each box comes in over 50 pounds, I'm OK with that - 'cause I don't wanna take 2 of them in from the front step and I bet they like even less hauling them both to my front step in the same visit.

Nice thing is, though I have previously had at least one package swiped between delivery and me getting to the door, I don't worry about these shipments - ain't nobody got time for hauling off a 50# box just to see if it's worth something...

300 rounds, chemicals, fireworks, and camping supplies....

"Collectively all of these items certainly suggest a specific recipe for large scale destruction"

Oh boy, I shudder to think what people would think of a decently stocked reloading room.

Good point. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Some felon was running untaxed pure maple syrup (aka "Canuck Moonshine") from Halifax over the border to western PA via motor scooter? That is quite the coincidence.....
