Redfield Battlezone 3 x 9
Years ago I bought a Redfield Battlezone 3 x 9 scope to put on my old 788 Remington 308. I liked the fact it came with turrets for .308/7.62 and .223/5.56 and for the money though Philippine made, it got good reviews. Well it did hold up very well, still clear as a bell and still holds zero and has never shifted though shot quite a lot over the years. Two weeks ago, I decided I was going to take it off the 788 and put it on my 700 in .223 but I couldn't find the .223 turret. Not in the box or my basket of odds and ends. It was gone. Period.
On a whim, I emailed Redfield/Leupold Customer Service and asked if they had spare turrets for this scope. I had a reply in a few days that they have sent me a replacement turret free of charge no questions asked. This on a cheap scope that has been discontinued for a few years.
Great customer service and totally unexpected. I like outcomes like this!Engineers make things idiot proof! Evolution makes better idiots!
