Don't know but if that's how it works, let's use it: I am now "the animal guy" and though a lifetime member of PETA, I say that animals should be eaten and their pelts turned into fur coats. Just like that, I am an authority.

Except, if you did that PETA would quickly come out and say that you're not a member and denounce you completely. Not so much in the NRA.

He has a blog that I linked to. Whoever he is the gun rights haters think highly enough of him to have had him speak twice in Chester County. He generated local press coverage for their evil cause.

No, it's on their promotional materials that he's NRA. He also says he has an FFL too.

I don't know who this guy is so I ran a search via the Internet and found this article on the Truth about Guns website. It shows that he was exposed for the same thing back in 2014.
