My wife carries in her purse, not on on her person. After she took a few classes and spent considerable time on the range her choice is an FN 5.7.
She's very aware, and her purse never leaves her person. No putting it o a shopping cart, etc.
Anyway, great gun with good power and 20+1, zero recoil.

My wife's the same way. Purse carry, but she never lets it leave her body, and she keeps a death grip on it with her left hand. I don't foresee someone snatching it from her.

My EDC is a G19 with a spare mag. My second is a P3AT as a back up. When I need to go small and light its just the P3AT.

The LA bank shootout is the only one I have seen. I know the FBI was also involved in one. IIRS that was also a bank robbery shootout.

On April 11, 1986 eight FBI agents engaged in a lead slinging war with two criminals, and despite outnumbering the crooks by four-to-one, ended up losing two of their own in a debacle that changed both tactics and the choices of firearms for law enforcement as a whole.

I still carry a Sig P239 with 8+1 after almost 20 years, though I picked up an M&P9 pro series that shoots pretty nice. The M&P holds 17+1, is roughly the same weight and width, and only slightly longer. If I can find a good holster I might retire the Sig. I practice 25-30 yard shots too.

Is she carry SS197 ammo or something with a little more juice, like Elite Ammo ProtecTOR series?

You still have to talk her out of purse carry. So dangerous. My wife refuses too.

Get her a belly band, ladies love then.
