And how does the officer learn of emergency calls...such as another officer's call for help?

You are probably right about that. I'm not part of that group with access. When I need an NCIC run on someone I want to interview (prison medical department) I have clerical staff that run it.

Ok I didnt make that clear. When you have a bad guy in the back seat you turn off the in car radio, close the lid on the computer. The bad guy cant read it then. You still have your portable radio on. That is worn on your belt with everything else. That only gets shut off during court and stuff like that, when you are not taking calls.

By direct observation I can confirm that the patrol car, computer display has a line that reads: License to Carry Firearm Yes No

Vehicle I drive is registered in my wife's name, and she does not have LTCF.

What about the license plate scanners/cameras used on patrol cars? (see on 95 all the time)

What information is gathered and where does it go? Who is that sold to and how is it used?

From what I understand it goes directly to the United Nations for planning of direct seizure of private property when they declare the US in violation of Treaties on Small arms.

If it happens again, respond, "Since my life was not in danger, there wasn't a point in informing you".

We forgot about this, and when the time comes, we'll have to give them up.

The new PA driver's license now relates back to a database that INCLUDES whether or not you have a PA license to carry.

It was brought to our attention when a friend was pulled over last week. She gave the officer her drivers license which officer ran. When he returned to her car he asked if she had a firearm on her to which she replied 'no, why?' The officer explained that they can now see if a person has a LTCF just by running their license.

After some phone calls it was confirmed that PSP turned over all the data on those with a PA LTCF to NCIC, which included it in the information provided for drivers licenses.

Once again PSP have overstepped their authority and you should be mad!

The only way to stop this from happening again is to call your reps and demand they bring SB224 (Eliminate PICS bill) to the floor for a vote. We have it on good authority that it will pass the House and more than likely pass the Senate.

Anyone else seen or heard of this?
    Let me get this straight....

Exactly how many people in Pennsylvania with CCWs have shot police in the line of duty? Is it less than ten, less than five, maybe none? Eight percent of the Pennsylvania population have CCWs. One would think that if CCW people were problem to Police that we'd know about it by now, right?

What's next? Will they drag the "gun nuts" out of our cars, toss the car for "weapons" and then leave us along the side of the road to put all of our stuff back into the cars?
