All LTCF holders may have a firearm, or may not. It's not a requirement.

A remedy would be to lobby the state house and senate to create and pass a law regulating the use of LTCF information. It would need to ban the automatic release of LTCF information when a driver license check is made, and limit the firearms carry license data use only for verifying if someone in public is in possession of a concealed firearm has a LTCF. Lots of luck to get the governor to sign it.

The gist is, LCTF info is a CLEAN-level transaction, NOT an NCIC transaction. Out of state agencies have no access to this information.
