AR-15 / AR-10 Tournament will be held on May 19th, 2018 from 9:00 AM till finished at Washington County Tactical Range.

$20 Entry Fee limited to 25 shooters
First prize is $100 plus free use of our M16 Machine Gun for the day with your ammo.
Second prize is $50 with free use of our M16 Machine Gun for a day with your ammo.
Third prize is $25 with free use of our M16 Machine Gun for a day with your ammo.

Two timed rounds with the lowest combined time of both rounds winning the event.

The first round will have shooters shooting twenty 1-foot metal targets from 100 to 200 yards with magazines loaded with 10 rounds each.

The second round will have shooters shooting twenty 1-foot metal targets from 200 to 300 yards with magazines loaded with 10 rounds each.

Shooters will have the choice of shooting from a bench or from raised shooting platform. Shooters can use as many rounds as necessary to hit the twenty targets.

For both rounds, shooters will start with AR and magazines laying on the bench/table, the AR will be on safe, unloaded with no magazine, with the bolt locked back. The four commands will be:

SHOOTER READY - Shooter acknowledges command

WAIT FOR COMMAND - Shooter will wait for the command to fire that will occur within next five seconds.

FIRE - Time will begin. The shooter will load the weapon, shoot 20 targets changing magazines as necessary. As shooter hits each target the spotters will yell "HIT" for hits. No command for misses will be given. Time will stop as the 20th target is hit. The shooter can use as many shots as necessary to hit all 20 targets. There are no limits on the number of magazines the shooter may have.

CEASE FIRE - Command will be given when the shooter has hit the 20th target or an unsafe act occurred.

Shooter has a maximum of 5 minutes to shoot the 20 targets. A 30-second penalty will be added to the shooters time for each missed target.

Any unsafe acts of the shooter will result in immediate disqualification of the shooter (DQ).

No armor piercing rounds. No calibers below 556/223 and no calibers above 308. There are many allowable calibers, such as 556, 223, 308, 300 AAC Blackout, 6.5 Creedmore, etc. If you have something different, please ask before purchasing a ticket.
