Anderson AR 15, anybody?
Is anybody here shooting an Anderson?
What’s your opinion?

I'm looking at them. That's my input.

Re: Anderson AR 15, anybody?
I have used their lowers in a number of builds including my home defense rifles which have a high round count with never an issue.
Assembly was smooth and the receivers are in spec. For me there was absolutely no difference between the Anderson lowers vs my Spikes or AP lowers. I have other rifles that have both their lowers and uppers used and they are also good to go.
There are a lot of YouTube reviews on their rifles. Look up the YouTuber The Late Boyscout he does a few high round count videos on one of their mid grade rifles.

Re: Anderson AR 15, anybody?
My brother and I both have stripped lowers in our homebuilds. Ours are consecutive serial numbers. His mag well is loose, mine is tight. Probably changed milling bits in between. They were easy to build on. Both rifles function and shoot great.

I have two builds, one with an Anderson and one with a Rock River lowers, except for the logos, cant tell them apart, both look, fit and work just fine. The fit and finish is better than my 70's vintage Colt SP1

Re: Anderson AR 15, anybody?
I’ve got several. I think three now including one registered lower. I have no complaints with them.

Re: Anderson AR 15, anybody?
There are probably more Anderson stripped lowers in America than there are blades of grass to hide them behind, but I don't know if anyone has ever bought a complete Anderson rifle.
I'm pretty sure that if they were garbage, they wouldn't be the hottest selling item ever created by man. (sorry, no source for that fact)

I built two rifles on stripped Anderson lowers. They both run great. Only issue was the holes for the grip screws weren't drilled and tapped deep enough. Easy fix. Just an annoyance.

Re: Anderson AR 15, anybody?
I have a complete Anderson AR15M4 with the RF85 coating. I picked it up a few years ago after the Sandy Hook surge, when prices started coming back down. Its a great rifle. I have maybe 1,000 rounds through it and and haven't cleaned it once. The coating really keeps it clean and running smooth. It has never had so much as a hiccup and is pretty darn accurate. It does have a heavy barrel which helps. I know they have moved more towards economy in the past few years so I cant really give any input on some of the cheaper rifles that are out there but I can tell you that mine is built like a tank and I will never get rid of it. It's just an all around great shooter.
