Not if people show up to vote.

I think the crazier the left gets the more it energizes Trumps base, or i hope.

I don’t know....there is just something about Ted that I don’t like. Is he a demagogue....a right wing nut...too religious....I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it’s just because he’s a politician. Speaks out of both sides of his mouth. I think it all started when he won Iowa and came out with that giddy victory speech giving God all the glory. I think Trump saved him from an embarrassing loss to the worst Presidential candidate Democrats ever fielded.

Hysterical headlines to the contrary, Trump is doing a pretty good job so far.
If the economy stays energized and continues to improve we should be ok in the election.
The Liberal headlines and hit pieces and anti Trump propaganda are reaching a smaller and smaller audience.
The Liberal news is in a Liberal echo chamber and only other Liberals are listening.
Same thing happened in the 2016 election.
The most important thing is that every Conservative needs to VOTE.

Didn't seem like the extreme left turned out all that big in Texas, at least in the primary:

No Blue Texas Wave: Ted Cruz Received More Votes than Entire Democrat Turnout

Hopefully that translates to a similar turnout in November. We shall see! But, the Democrats have a whole lot more Senate seats to defend than Republicans do. The House could be more vulnerable, but I doubt it. That said, I think it's best to stay vigilant.

I didn't like some of what Ted Cruz did during the primaries, but him giving God the glory for any victories didn't bother me. Then again, I do the same, so take from that what you will. Still, all in all, I was happy to vote for him in the primary and would vote for him again if he runs for President in 2024.

Ted sounds great on paper, however he doesn't present himself well off the cuff. He has a major creep factor and an untrustworthiness. I really liked him before the campaign.

The feminist and the liberals especially those who did not vote in 2016 because they thought Hillary was going to be a shoe in are going to be hitting the polls in full force. If history repeats itself, the party opposite of what’s in the white house usually makes significant gains in congress at the halfway part of the president’s four year term. Recently the democrats have won several runoff elections.
If the GOP continues to cave in on gun rights that sure as hell isn’t going to help them.

On the other hand because of this new push for gun control, hopefully the GOP stand its ground and it might be a motivating factor to get gun owners to vote to keep the commies out.

If anyone ever watch the TV show or have seen a clip of it “The View” , the panel of that show will be running the country if the democrats get the majority in congress.

Cruz is great on the second amendment, but because of what you described,I don't think he would have won if he was running against Hillary in 2016.

I will never understand the criticism of this man. Ted Cruz has single handedly done more to preserve liberty and the Constitution, especially the 2nd Amendment than any other Senator, let alone candidate we had. He is still the true Constitutional conservative voice we needed. I saw just today he had a clear defense of the AR15 as a firearm specifically protected under Heller as a "popular" firearm on "Morning Joe". I guarantee we wouldn't be dealing with the bull crap we are today from the White House if Cruz was in office.

Read his books. Get familiar with his back story. He's the real f'ing deal. It's a shame that people picked a lifelong Democrat over him during the primary. Hillary still would have lost since Cruz actually has integrity and a backbone.

Also, I don't get this crap about "what Cruz did during the primary". Donald Trump viciously lied and claimed Cruz's father shot JFK. He also perpetuated that farce story about Cruz not being eligible to serve as President because he was born to an American citizen mother while she was not on US soil. (Still unquestionably natural born American citizen.) He also made derogatory remarks about Cruz's wife's looks.

And you give Cruz a hard time because... what again? He thanked God for his success? What a load of crap.

The do-nothing Congress has been mia since Trump was elected... so rolling over to the Democrats would be status quo. The problem is if there’s a SCOTUS judge that needs replaced.
