Re: West PA - Get out and VOTE for Saccone TODAY
All the focus is on whether this is a referendum on Trump or not. What it should signal is that Western Pennsylvania is low hanging fruit for progressives, not Democrat neoliberals. The Democrats aren’t much more different than the Republicans but the progressive Bernie Sanders types......now that’s a bunch that will fundamentally change the landscape of the US. And they have an opportunity given how incompetent the Dems have been.

The democrat ran as a faux conservative. He hid his progressiveness but that will show in due time.

Re: West PA - Get out and VOTE for Saccone TODAY
It pisses me off to think about all the national attention and outside money involved in this race. Referendum my ass. I actually have to be represented by this clown. Now I can add him to the list of clowns I can't count on to represent me, along side Toomey and Casey.
My only positive here is that when this democrat inevitably votes the party line, perhaps I can use that to convince some folks that they are all the same anti-American socialist scumbags.Last edited by marinville; March 14th, 2018 at 12:22 PM.

It looks it will only be a matter of time before his pro gun and anti abortion stances become replaced with the party line. I vaguely recall Senator Gillibrand being pro gun....before she became a US Senator.

You are correct. I remember back when she took over Hillary's seat, my father-in-law said, "Hey, maybe she won't be so bad. She's pro-gun!" My response was, "Yeah, we'll see. She's pro-gun now, but wait until she's on the national stage and has to win NYC votes in order to get re-elected."

Re: West PA - Get out and VOTE for Saccone TODAY
So the conclusion we can take from this...CONSERVATISM WINS!
The Dems shouldn't be too overjoyed if they win this. He won on Republican principles. They can't find a fake Conservative Dem to run in every race...and that won't even work in many places. The Democrat Party still does not have a winning message.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Re: West PA - Get out and VOTE for Saccone TODAY
As predicted and was called a “Democrat Lover” for....this is just the tip of the iceberg. We are gonna get smashed in November. Trump has single handedly f**ked the Republican party. And even though the Democrats have no real leader or a good message to give to people, they are gonna win because Trump is that bad.
Don’t like me ???? Tough, I don’t give a flying f@@k about ya.

Same thing happened to A Democrat Senator From Texas named Lloyd Benson. He was pro gun until Bill Clinton appointed him Secretary of Treasury in the 90s. Back then ATF was under the Treasury Department. A short time later Secretary Benson was on the news announcing he was classifying the Street Sweeper, Striker 12, and USAS shotguns as destructive devices under the NFA act.
