80% Arms is made for use with a router and milling bit (available from them)

Private transaction or gun show from someone who doesn't know you, cash, no paperwork trail.

    It's called an end mill.

I know you prefer to be precise with words.

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

If were going by paper work trail...I got a jig and two lowers.

    I know.

    I do.

But, since routers use bits and I wanted to indicate compatibility, I reduced terminology to lowest common denominator.

I am capable (perhaps even fond) of using multisyllabic phraseology when a singularly unloquacious and diminutive linguistic expression would satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity, but I can shoot the $#!% with short words if it's what I need.

Has anyone here send the AR 15 mold kit? It is a pour your own resin lower. Mix the resin, put it in the mold, wait for it to cure, pop out a complete lower. LOTS OF COLORS AVAILABLE!

I don;t think I trust a polymer AR lower made by a legitimate firearms manufacturer, I'm definitely not trusting a DIY Jell-O mold kit I make myself not to explode at the range.

$339 for 5 lower kit, not even worth the risk, just get aluminum ones, or polymer 80%s to mill out.

    I've built this kit.

The jig is a one time use but I haven't had any issue with the lower itself.
I haven't gone out of my way to over stress it either.

If you do buy from 80% Arms get their"gen 2" lowers. Not a big deal but slightly less to mill.

Most don't sell them but once and a while you can find a private sale on a place like Gunbroker.com but then there is a record that you were going to send them a check/money order.
