OAKS 3 Day Gunshow March 23, 24 & 25, 2018

Unless I missd it, it hasnt been confirmed who loaded the gun in question. There was so much monkey business going on at Oaks, as well as other gun shows around the country. I wouldnt put it past the left to sabotage gun shows. Call me a nut, however I wouldnt put it past the left to send in people to cause trouble in order to have gun shows shut down. In a prvious post it was mention about all the AD's/ND's that have been going on. Why? Until this is cleared up I cant point a finger at the vendor alone. A full and complete Police report would be interesting to read. This may be avaible throught the freedom of information act.

While sabatoge is always a possibility, proper firearms handling and safety would have prevented the round in the chamber from being fired. First from the vendor side and then from the buyer side. Fail, two times.

vendor checks for clear ....then hands gun to buyer.......buyer takes the gun and checks AGAIN for clear...

What day is the least busy ? or what time of day ?

I don't go that early so I don't know. Even at 1700 there are a good number of empty tables, I think that some vendors don't even make it until Saturday.

Thanks, may just go after work if it does not get too crowded. I never go to gun shows just local shops but figured since I am right around the corner may check it out.

There are a good many tables (probably about 12-15 vendors) that aren't set up when the show opens. Some come in during the day, others don't show up until Saturday morning. But those are the small vendors or private parties who are renting a table or two to sell off their personal stash.

I like going early on Friday. I like to be able to cherry pick. I also like the smaller crowds too.

For this reason I wish that they'd offer a two day pass with a discount for the second day. It wouldn't hurt them any and I just can't see paying to go twice (no it won't break me I'm just that cheap).

That's exactly why they won't offer a 2 day pass. They know that if you really want to go back for a second visit, the price of admittance isn't going to be what holds you back from coming again.
