I would expect an increase in vigilance on the part of the vendors this time around. If there is a repeat the offending vendor should not be allowed back.

If it were my show, that vendor would not be back after the first ND. No reason for a vendor to have a loaded firearm on a table at the show.

Unless I missd it, it hasnt been confirmed who loaded the gun in question. There was so much monkey business going on at Oaks, as well as other gun shows around the country. I wouldnt put it past the left to sabotage gun shows. Call me a nut, however I wouldnt put it past the left to send in people to cause trouble in order to have gun shows shut down. In a prvious post it was mention about all the AD's/ND's that have been going on. Why? Until this is cleared up I cant point a finger at the vendor alone. A full and complete Police report would be interesting to read. This may be avaible throught the freedom of information act.

Target acquisitions this time around for me is the chance to check out some different scopes to replace an older leupold scope of mine. Any chance of seeing an assortment of high quality scopes at the show? I usually dont find much in the way of high-end firearms there. Most of what I see is your lower priced average stuff. Cant say Ive really ever paid attention to scopes at the shows though.

Not looking good for me to attend any of the 3 days. Roofer came out and even though I only lost a handful of shingles during the storm, it would appear that many of my shingles have lifted. I'm not sure how much (if any) of this cost my insurance company is willing to pay. I will fight them tooth and nail, but I'll probably have to pay out of pocket and then hopefully get reimbursed at a later date.
