I don't know what they carry in their Freeport store, but I know that they sell high end over/under shotguns in their Hunting catalog occasionally. Which actually surprises me all the more now that I think of it. I would imagine that people who are hunters would have more of an issue with selling to < 21 yo than they would if Bean stopped selling ARs (if they sell them in the first place). Hunters tend to be all about passing on the tradition and having the Rite of Passage of buying your own first hunting piece.

LL Bean has a store up in Maine, I think it's in Freeport, that is comparable to Cabela's, Gander Mountain, et al.
I wouldn't be surprised if they sold guns in there too.
