I was wondering when somebody would start 2018.
I have a empty AR15 Lower than I'm planning to Form 1 into an SBR.
When I do I'll post the relevant info here.

By the way: The Current Wait time seems to be 32 Weeks.

I just mailed my Form 1 Trust to make an MP5K SBR based on an HK SP5K. Should be sweet when finished! This a gun I’ve always wanted since the 80’s!

I go to site to site to site, wherever I find people telling of their recent purchase, filing and Approvals.

I have a little notion in a spreadsheet that produces the estimates very quickly. Just add the start date and end dates.
One shooter gave his mail dates and reception of his Stamps. It totaled about 32 weeks.
The times for Approval are scattered all over the place. A few days ago another shooter gave the times of Mailing September 14 of Last year with Stamps arriving on March 5. That gives 172 days and about 25 weeks. I do Not doubt that when I check some other site today that I'll find somebody with a Wait time of over 200 days.

Got it. You do the same thing I do. I just didn’t know if you found a better source. Nfatracker has died. I’ve been using reddit a lot. The nfa forum has been a good source

I went to Freedom Armory today and had a quick word with Scott. (The owner.) He said the times are all over the place. 5 to 6 months seem to be the most common. A couple have been waiting over a year. He mentioned One buyer has been waiting over a year and a half. He said he's called the Feds and asked. They're waiting on background checks, he was told.

I hope the additional 25 examiners bring it back to only 3 or 4 months.

Background checks are with the fbi not the atf. That’s the hold up for everyone.
Individual form 4s are being processed again with times pending of mid September. Mine are mid December.
