Hopefully soon I'll have that machine gun transfer in the queue as well. Apparently, though, they're taking their time on dealer transfers too.

Thanks! I'm SBR'ing my CZ Scorpion EVO carbine with a k barrel and Dead Air Wolf 9sd can. Can't wait, can check was not cashed for 2 weeks after sbr, so I probably have a bit more to wait.

That's the fastest WAIT I've seen in years. A little over 150 days, not knowing when you sent the paperwork in.

The first few months you really don't mind; you don't think of it too hard because you know it's coming to take a while. Your attitude is one of being Calm & Collected because there is nothing you can do but wait. You know this is especially true if your collection of $200.00 Tax Stamps exceed your weekly pay.

Then you start to see people who've applied for Form 1's or Form 4's just a few weeks ahead of you getting their APPROVED Form's telling everybody on the Net their good fortune. Then you start to compare times: Trusts versus Individuals, what was made versus purchased. You check out every Shooting forums available to you. Last year I had no inkling how long it as going to be. It turned out to be 264 days. The question eventually became Which Month? THIS year the timeline has drastically been cut. Previously to today my latest Estimate was 202 days, 29 weeks.

And here you come with ≈150 days and 20 weeks. I called them (304-616-4500) last Friday. Not yet: "The current Wait is about 8 months." Reasonable response. I've also been waiting about 8 months. Some people have gotten theirs later, others like you, you lucky stinker, have gotten theirs sooner. Calm & Collected is for my FORM-1 SBR; I don't expect that until about Thanksgiving.

150 days. Pass the nerve tonic.

The 8 months seems to be a conservative estimate and it’s what they’ve been saying for a while. Kind of like a cya policy. They also appear to do runs of a certain form. Form 1s for a few weeks then form 4s. Used to be a huge discrepancy between trust and individual too.

The wait gets the worst when you’re at any day now status.

No kidding. I'm at the Staring at Phone Stage.
Last year was easier: I had No Idea of When. This year I have an idea.
