Default Is everyone still without power?

Power lost a little after 9 AM this morning. PPL has no indicator of when service will be restored. Hope the genny keeps running...

So far so good here. I have a cabin in the Poconos and am hoping the place will be spared by the trees.

We've been out since around 10 am. I never made it home from work. All roads to my house were closed. Trees and power lines down everywhere. 209 is completely shut down. 84 west was closed at the PA NY border. I had to find a hotel.

We have been down since 4:30 pm. I got the house running on back up generator. This was the 2nd time in 20 years I took a vacation day because of snow and I’m glad I did. Lots of people stranded all over and roads and highways closed. My cousin is in upper Bucks their 35 minute commute took 6 hours, 4 of it because 309 was at a stand still due to multiple accidents.

    My electricity works just fine.

However, I am still without power...and I don’t see myself getting any power in the foreseeable future.

I was never able to make it home from NYC yesterday either; had to stay in the city due to all the road closures into PA. Going to try heading out this morning. According to the fam, lost internet as well late last night. Thank God we've got a 10kw backup generator, but with only a 200 gallon tank and reports now saying outages to exceed 24 hours, maybe 36... who knows how long it'll last.

Mine went out yesterday just after bragging about being fine in the other power thread. Peco says restoration sometime Sunday. Grrrrrr... Working today so have to find some 1K hopefully. The shit with dye in it stinks.

I was off because I'm working today. It was a mess. It took the wife an hour and a half for a 20 min ride, and she left work at noon.

First time I slid off the road (besides F'ing around) in over 30 years of driving.

I'm pretty sure it was the wind. I hit a patch of snow that was blown across the road from a farm field. The front end slid right into the shoulder. I have snow tires and I wasn't going too fast.

I kept my foot in it, trying to keep my momentum up, to get back on the pavement. But alas, it was in vain.

After 12 hours of rain before the snow started, everything's a swamp around here.

Luckily, my kid's buddy since Webelos lives nearby and was home. He yanked me out with his coal roller.

He is a true example of Semper Fidelis!

Then, just in case, on the way home the dog puked in the back seat for the first time ever. Yea!
