Holy chit, where do you start with a mess like that? That will be a nice picture to look at twenty years from now.

I'm ready for this next storm. Took off work tomorrow, I have 25 gallons of gas. My generator is full and I got about 8 gallons of kerosene for my heater. Also refilled two propane tanks. One for a heater and one for the grill.
To be safe I got two new CO detectors. Good luck everyone.

No power, motor in my generator blew up yesterday. Estimates are Thursday at midnight, but I don't think that's going to be met. A huge tree took out four poles on my street, missed the houses just barely.

I'm on a tucked away dead end, only 7 accounts on the street, back burnered.

All the food along with wife child and pets have been moved to my parents an hour and change away in Reading. I've been commuting daily to keep tabs on things.

    Good times.

They finally started working on the lines. There were three trucks. They still have several days work at least. There are three poles snapped in half with the top hanging upside down within a quarter mile along with a mess of trees. They finally got the road cleared for the most part. I was happy to see those guys. I hope they know we appreciate the hard work. All they probably hear is bitching.

A thermos of coffee goes a long way, if so inclined.

Taking the whole family out there and clapping should make them smile too.

Glad to hear some progress is being made in some areas. For the rest of us, no such luck.

Meanwhile, the Guard is supposedly being deployed. Haven't seen any guard units in the area at all though...
