Re: Poll on proposed semi-auto ban in PA
I don't see a poll, but my plan would probably be to keep and then move.
I do have a couple stripped lowers that I don't have plans on building, if they want to pay me more than I paid to "turn them in" it might be an option, can always say I got rid of the rest... but even thinking of complying on the surface in any way at all feels dirty and wrong so that's unlikely to happen. What are they gonna do, house to house on every gun owner in the state?

Re: Poll on proposed semi-auto ban in PA
Move= Retreat. Time to stand and fight. Or go underground. That's what we'll need...an underground railroad for banned guns owners.
Letting a government drive a citizen out is totally ass-backwards to what the founders provided. They provided that a repressive government be driven out.

FIGHT!
Then watch as the people who started fighting are all called lunatics with guns hold up in their houses shot by SWAT teams and watch how people are being made fun of on gun forums because they fought being called monsters on the news because they fought meanwhile the community is saying they never could have thought it would happen here and all along the founding fathers are rolling in their graves.

Wait....does this have a shot passing the house and state senate?
BTW, what's the use of having guns to protect oneself from a tyrannical government if one simply turns them in or runs away?Last edited by mikelets456; March 2nd, 2018 at 02:50 PM.

They can bite me. I'm old and gotta die someday. Cancer didn't get me, perhaps the government will.

Re: Thoughts on proposed semi-auto ban in PA
Turn in guns ? Come and get them.
Keep guns and defy the ban ? I have many, many thousands of acres of State Forest right at my doorstep.
Move out of PA ? I moved a lot in my life and travel plenty as is, my interest in moving is not high on the agenda but if I had to, well, so it goes.
Other ? At some point I am building or purchasing a new built home or townhome in New Zealand on the South Island.
Take New York and Connecticut as a case study. Almost no one registered, so it's all underground now.
