Gunbot.net is a good place to start for comparison pricing, but often the items shown are out of stock. I'd also add Target Sports USA to the list. They have free shipping on cases.

Palmetto state armory had cases of .223 for $300 and free shipping on over 200+ rounds, earlier in the week. I've bought my fair share of cases there without issue.

Look for a place that doesn't require you to send them ID first. I wouldn't buy from any such place.

I bought ammo on-line once. It was 10,000 rounds of my favourite rifle caliber. No hassles, no issues - but I'm sure the UPS man hated me because he stacked it all in front of my door and I had to move it to get into the house.

I don't remember what the name of that place was though.
