Dick's to stop selling AR's

Hi all, I know this this thread is older now and this is frowned upon, but I have some new and relevant information. The AR15s were all destroyed. Almost 1200 guns, ranging in value from $350 to $2000. That average works out to be about $1,000,000 of merchandise. Ed Stack has what Adam Carolla would call F Me money. He doesn't care about the very noticeable loss of traffic we are seeing or that million dollar loss. He is an ideologue.

I'm not completely convinced that they destroyed them on principal only.

I'd be curious to know the manner in which they were "destroyed".
