Gee, I am willing to bet that the security guys are armed, too. A good guy with a gun (and some other tech - i. e. The scanner machine) beat a bad guy with a gun. AND WE DIDN'T NEED ANY NEW GUN CONTROL LAW. No students were injured. Nobody died. But I bet the students that were on his bus shit a brick when they found out.

It was a stolen assault pistol, they need to outlaw stealing pistols now.

I agree, only two ways: Enforce the security system and require good guys with guns in schools. How about 911? For school shootings, 99.9% are too late. In Fl, even worst, more than one deputies were waiting outside the school while killing in progress, my sons told me that they were waiting untill no shots then they entered; it is remained me when i make a bag of popcorn in my casual microwave. Then, the solution he/ they quit!?? A simple like that? If he/ they came in, maybe the story will be slightly different. One life is too much to be killed.
