    Default Armed teachers

I'm not a lawyer so a little help please. It seems to me under present law that if a school district says a teacher with a LTCF wants to carry may do so. It is within the law. On the other hand should the teacher's union require that those teachers be paid more or have further training paid for they would be required to get a 235 cert.

I'm just asking for a straight answer to two questions. NOT A DEBATE.

I didn't see any questions in your op. Nevertheless, I absolutely endorse additional training/certification, such as Act 235. And as a taxpayer, I think those teachers/administrators who choose to do so should be compensated for it, or have their training covered by the taxpayers.

Why limit it to teachers? Just because they belong to a union? I mean, what if a janitor, or a secretary or a cafeteria worker qualified? Smacks of elitism to me.

And athletic events......who gets in with a gun and who doesn’t?
