I remember while growing up kids "huffing" gasoline or Model Airplane glue. A lot of the people who died in high speed crashes were kids who could make cars go very fast but did not realize that sometimes fast cars make very fast stops.

Kids are not to be taken seriously because many of them lack enough life experiences to make good judgments. There are some amazingly mature kids, just as there are adults (some of them in the gun control lobby) who believe that prohibition works or believe other foolish things.

The Progressives love to use the image of child like innocence to pull their schemes. They would like us all to be like children - trusting, naive and vulnerable. That last one is why they like gun control so much, vulnerable people will give you what you want. Your money or your life.

These same kids would be the first to protest when a "gun control raid" trashed their home or some nasty kid "SWATed" someone through a gun control snitch line.
