Wow, a lot of hate for AR pistols. I used to hate them too until it occurred to me that it's an excellent car gun in PA with a LTCF. It's a great car gun nationwide with my LEOSA qualification. The brace is what converted me from a critic to a carrier.

I don't read any hate for AR pistols, just that they are not good candidates for open or concealed carry in the opinion of some.

I can definitely see the attraction for your first reason alone. I'm leaning more toward an AK though.

Your balls are WAY bigger than mine. No way I'd drive into NJ/NY with one even with LEOSA. (which I don't have)

I don't drive to NJ/NY so there's that. I carry it through MD for a few miles and I'm puckered when I do. I know I'll eventually prevail but I wouldn't welcome the ordeal.

Good old N.J. has laws against "assault pistols".
We can get around the silly hollow point thing but I think they can pop LEOSA folks for mags and other state infractions.

The type of handgun is exempt as are the bullet types. They can nail us on the magazine, that's why I have a 5 rounder. I'm not going to test it but I'm confident I would eventually prevail, after great expense and trouble.

Does anyone make an AIWB holster for these things?

Not necessary. Mexican carry - the charging handle catches the edge of the pants and keeps it from falling down inside.

i personally love my new ar pistol but wouldn't want the attention of walking around slung.
it's more convenient to get in and out of the car with an OWB handgun. but as a B.O.B. gun, hell yes.

can't we shoulder them now? thought it was something about it not changing the designed use. like ATF can't charge you for just using it improperly.
either way they're not too hard to fire a round or two with just cheek weld as stated. bet it'd be even easier with a good comp/brake combo.
besides, when shtf and you're testing your NRA carryguard, arguing your shouldered weapon will be the last thing on the jury's mind.
