I really want to attend this event, more so because the Capitol is only about 3 miles from my house and just down the street from where I work. My issues though are one, it's on a Monday and I have to work. Two my wife will be back to work by then and I will be taking care of a 2 month old on my own until I drop him off at daycare. So I can't come along this year, but maybe next year I can. I might be able to at least join you all for breakfast if I wake up early enough.

i'm sure many of us would love to help you with your kid. make sure to bring enough baby stuff to care for them for a few hours. i don't like kids but would be fine ensuring they're not stolen while you pee.

I wish, I'm a supervisor and I've only called off twice in 4 years. Once for being extremely ill and the other time was because we lost a daughter during pregnancy. They would know something is up if I call off.
