Will there be a PAFOA identifier for people to gravitate to if they have not signed up with the organizers and don't know where to go.
There are bound to be many people that don't sign up to go talk to the Reps but still want to find the PAFOA crowd.
Maybe there could be a banner or sign or t-shirt or something for people to look for?
Just a thought.

3-HAVE YOUR LTCF READY
4-ARICULATE CLEARLY AND COURTEOUSLY THAT YOU HAVE A FIREARM/KNIFE/PEPPER SPRAY/MAGAZINE(S) TO CHECK IN
5-CAREFULLY FOLLOW INSTRUCTION
6-CAPITOL POLICE ARE WELL DRILLED IN THIS.THEY WILL STAND BEHIND YOU.
7-YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO A SERIES OF SHELVES IN THE GARAGE
8-YOU WILL REMOVE YOUR FIREARM FROM ITS HOLSTER OR INSIDE ITS HOLTER IF YOU HAVE A PADDLE TYPE
9-YOU WILL NOT HAND THE GUN TO THE CAPITOL POLICE. YOU WILL PLACE IT, MUZZLE POINTED FORWARD, ON THE SHELF
10-WHEN DAY IS DONE YOU PRESENT YOUR RECEIPT TO THE CAPITOL POLICE. THEY WILL VERIFY YOUR SERIAL NUMBER(S), THEN AGAIN STAND BEHIND YOU WHILE YOU SAFELY RE-HOLSTER.
11-BE SURE TO SAY THANK YOU, AND QUICKLY EXIT THE STORAGE AREA.

I've been through the drill many times. Its quick, efficient, and safe, and does not place either you or the police officer in jeopardy.

I've been to this rally for several years running and this has not been the process. I've never had any officer stand behind me. I've never removed the gun from my holster (bad idea imho). I've never been allowed anywhere near the shelves, there's a desk between you and them. I don't know how they do things day to day, but every rally I've been to these things didn't happen.

The actual rally is inside the rotunda. I guess the steps out front would be the place to gather, but I don't know how many will be there or if there will be provision for audio of the speaker's outside.

Good point, maybe we could pick an area on the front steps or the foundation as a ralling point for poofa folks. If anyone really wants to meet and greet with everyone they can always come to the breakfast before hand too. That's been where a bunch of us has met up before.

REPO, I know you're familiar with the area around the capital. Maybe you could pick a rallying point for others who want to do the same. We could all kind of meet up there and those going inside can then proceed to the check in area.
