My guess is "I don't know what to do inside" is the big one. If that's you, then find an FOAC leader and team with them.

It may be useful for first timers if you post a few words about how to locate a Firearms Owners Against Crime (FOAC) team leader at the rally.
Some people will jump in last minute without registering ahead of time.

Either way, I'm there and we're all fighting for the same freedoms so we're all on the same side. This shows we're passionate about the cause and these things happen. See you tomorrow inside and out.

Someone who has been to one of these before, tell me what's my chances of being home to get my kids off the school bus at 3:45 (a 3.5 hour drive from the capital).

If you want to participate in lobbying after the rally, just look for the FOAC table(s). They are the ones doing the gun give away and probably the only ones with a table. Ask them if you can join a team. You'll go with a group around to various lawmakers. If you are from the Lehigh Valley, you are welcome to join us from the 2A Committee of the LV Tea Party. Just PM me. Even if you think I'm a total douche... that's ok, you can still come with us! :-)

You're in charge, you leave when you need to leave. Just showing up is more than most do, and no one will bash you for leaving when you need to. Last year I left early because we had to get hay off the field and into the barn while the weather was right. You should have time to participate in the rotunda activities and make a stop in your rep's office if you choose to do so. If you want to stand outside with an AR, you are still doing more than most do.

I thought someone had posted a link to the firearms acknowledgment receipt but now I don't see it in this thread.

If you print it and fill it out at home it saves time when checking your firearm.

This will be my first rally, since I just moved to PA in September. Looking forward to putting some faces to screen names.
