I've been through the drill many times. Its quick, efficient, and safe, and does not place either you or the police officer in jeopardy.

I've never seen them stand behind anyone during this process.

Contradicts what everyone has been saying up-thread. Pray tell, where did you come by this? I would prefer to keep my holster on me, so if this is an officially produced set of instructions I would gladly keep a copy on me.

I have never needed to show my LTCF to the officers. They have always taken my firearm and placed it on the shelves because we do not have access to the shelves. Years ago they would take my firearm without my holster but last time they wouldn't take it without my holster.

I use a belly band with my 40 cal shield, do I simply remove the belly band with the shield left in it? Also, do you have a link for the paperwork that has to be filled out?

I thought someone had posted a link to the firearms acknowledgment receipt but now I don't see it in this thread.

If you print it and fill it out at home it saves time when checking your firearm.

Will there be a PAFOA identifier for people to gravitate to if they have not signed up with the organizers and don't know where to go.
There are bound to be many people that don't sign up to go talk to the Reps but still want to find the PAFOA crowd.
Maybe there could be a banner or sign or t-shirt or something for people to look for?
Just a thought.
