    Default Falls Twp RPA

Any members active here? I’m new to the area and looking for a good place to shoot. Living in Lower Makefield, FTRPA would be super convenient and one of few places anywhere near here to offer a 200 yard range. I’d love the chance to check the place out and maybe get on a wait list. Currently my collection consists of an m1 carbine and a 9mm cz, but wil be growing as the budget allows.

I’ve got 15 years of carpentry experience and an arsenal of tools, so I can be a useful addition to range maintenance and improvement projects, FWIW.

I'm a member, and from what I understand the waiting list is over 3 yrs long. No more applications are being accepted until the waiting list comes down.

I am a member over at LGRC. There is a small waiting list, but does not take long. You will need a sponsor.

    Hope that helps.

Wow that’s crazy. Guess I’ll check in the website next year.

This sounds like a better option. Hey sponsor Watkins! Let’s get a beer.

    Hey Handy,

I am a member of 2 years and to be a sponsor you need to be a member for 3. However, I recommend you start going to their different public shooting events like Thursday night trap. Go to the club website and look at the monthly calendar to see the public shoots. Sorry I'm unable to sponsor. FYI - if and when you get a sponsor and voted in its $150 app fee/buy in and $150 a year. I really like the club and they have some good events. Hope that helps.

Gotcha, thanks for being so straight about how it works there. Fees seem reasonable. Do they host any non-shotgun public events? Don’t have a shotgun at the moment, and trap isn’t really my thing anyway. Pistol and semi-auto rifle I’ve got covered.

    Yes, to answer your question.

Here is the link to the club calendar of events:

You could also stop by before one of the monthly club meetings and talk to the members.
