Mitchell's Mausers Waffen SS k98

I recently ordered the gun about a week ago, ive heard all the rumors and accusations on mitchells about lying but its mostly just dumb people buying yugoslavian m48's instead of specifying for a k98. How accurate is my rifle and what will the markings look like on the gun! I paid 600 dollars is this a good deal

You should be able to get a K98 for under $250. If you are buying a Mitchells Mauser to have a nice rifle, pay whatever it's worth to you. Many have posted that they have one and it's a nice shooter. If you want a K98, look at JG Sales: http://www.jgsales.com/product_info....oducts_id/1623

I would suggest you try to cancel your order or send it back if it's too late. You would be better off looking for a vet bringback 98K or something along that line if you want an "all correct" mauser.

K98s marked with SS Runes can bring big bucks, IF GENUINE. There have been questions posed about authenticity of Mitchells SS markings. Get it checked out by a reputable collector.
