Another Gun Shop Burglary
I have only seen this on the ABC 27 site. 43 guns stolen from York County shop. I'm not sure what kind of security these places have, but maybe they need to double down.

Re: Another Gun Shop Burglary
In retrospect,I was the part owner of a Gun shop In the Poconos 14 years ago,a regular morning picking up from a distributor, when getting to the shop police activity and cordoned off FBI allowed me access while transporting my partner by airflight.I located a hidden compartment that had the full scenario assiting greatley in the apprehension of 3 crimminals.I will note to say partner left shop locked went for coffee and returned all the while not having a firearm with him to protect himself.Had I been 15 minutes earlier maybe the robbery would not have occured or maybe ended with the loss of life of the robbery suspects.GOD answers all prayers !

Re: Another Gun Shop Burglary
I agree! But it wont happen, some people are to lazy to work so they steal what they need. My local gun shop has had several burglary attempts. The alarm is set off and they flee. The owner also has other measures in place to prevent thefts while closed. He puts all hand guns in a safe and secures rifles with cables through the trigger guards. Other than shoplifting, and only one case that I know, he has never lost a single gun.

Re: Another Gun Shop Burglary
There is a gun shop near me that was burglarized twice, and its right down the street from a police station.

Hmm the M.O. of this was very similar to the Trop job. They found three of Trop's stolen firearms in a car in York. Too many connections and I don't believe in coincidences....
Hmmm Now another in West Manchester, 3 Gun Shops in Lancaster and York in the last month. Yup nothing to see here, all coincidence right?Last edited by theshadow; February 16th, 2018 at 05:09 PM. Reason: New information

Re: Another Gun Shop Burglary
These gun shops might want to enhance security on their own before someone passes a law requiring expensive security upgrades for FFL holders.

Re: Another Gun Shop Burglary
But wouldn't it be offensive to see bars on the windows?
It would be funny if that kind of thinking were not true.
